With full co-operation of Andy Partridge and Colin Moulding, Neville Farmer has been able to write a truthful and joyous celebration of the music and life of Swindon's finest. Illustrated throughout by Partridge's drawings (ideas and record sleeve art), which alone give one a sense of an incredibly creative mind behind some of the songs. The book goes through the history of XTC by telling the stories behind each of the songs which in turn provides interesting anecdotes and humourous asides from the boys. A very personal account of the most criminally under-rated band of the last three decades. Fans will love it.
